Whether you are Democrat, Republican, or Independent, above all you are an American. As an American I am sure you are as frustrated and angry with your local, state, and federal representative. Exxon Mobil has many people representing them, Greenpeace and the Sierra Club have someone representing them. Who is getting your voice heard? Our government is broken. It has stalled to the point of confronting minute issues such as illegal steroid use in professional sports or congressional cafeteria menu changes. |
There are serious problems looming before this country and our representatives and "leaders" are failing to either represent or lead. Inaction by our elected officials has the potential to doom this nation from not only its status as a world leader, but also as an inspiration for the world. |

Rasmussen polls as of 17 June 2008 state that "Sixty-four percent (64%) of voters believe it is at least somewhat likely that gas prices will go down if offshore oil drilling is allowed, although 27% don’t believe it. Seventy-eight percent (78%) of conservatives say offshore drilling is at least somewhat likely to drive prices down. That view is shared by 57% of moderates and 50% of liberal voters." |

So Why Aren't we drilling? why aren't investing in clean fuel sources? Why isn't the Government checking the air in there tires. It's time to make some sweeping changes and only We The People united with a powerful lobbying voice can then get the attention of the elected officials and not with hugh donation from special interest groups but with just a single dollar from each of us until we have enough money to sent our own lobbyist to Washington. Please don't misunderstand us, we love America that's why want to make sure that the will and the voice of the people is heard loud and clear and acted upon by our Government |
